Mai Ling Biography
Mai Ling was an actress, best known for her roles in 2 Bond films from the 1960s. She was born in China and started her acting career in the United Kingdom.
Ling’s first known film was Call Me Bwana (1963), which starred Bob Hope. A year later she appeared in Bond film Goldfinger as Mei-Lei, a hostess on Auric Goldfinger‘s private jet.
Mai Ling also had an uncredited part in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice where she played Bath Girl.
Her husband was also a well-known film industry professional. He was a cameraman who worked primarily with director David Lean, and was part of the aerial crew on You Only Live Twice.
Ling retired from acting after her work in The Most Dangerous Man in the World (1969).
