Lynn-Holly Johnson is an American actress and former figure skater, born on December 13, 1958. She studied at Niles North High School in Skokie, Illinois before making a name for herself in the entertainment industry.

As a young figure skater, Lynn-Holly Johnson was recognized for her skill and won the silver medal at the novice level of the 1974 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Three years later, she decided to turn professional and joined the Ice Capades.

After leaving competitive skating, Lynn-Holly Johnson pursued her passion for acting and made her film debut in the 1978 romantic drama Ice Castles, playing the role of figure skater, Alexis “Lexie” Winston, a girl who becomes blind due to a blood clot in her brain. The film was a moderate success, and Johnson’s performance was praised by critics.

In 1980, Lynn-Holly Johnson was cast in the lead role in The Watcher in the Woods a Disney horror drama This was followed by a casting as Bibi Dahl in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only. Johnson played the role of a figure skater who’s infatuated with James Bond, played by Roger Moore, but who turns down her advances. In 1984, Johnson starred in the movie Where the Boys Are ’84, a remake of the 1960 film of the same name.

After a successful career in the entertainment industry, Johnson decided to retire from acting in 1996 to focus on her family. Her final acting role at the time was in the television film, Fugitive X: Innocent Target. In 2007, she returned to acting in a community theater production of It’s a Wonderful Life.

She has also appeared in a number of television shows, including CHiPs, Matt Houston, Trapper John, M.D., and MacGyver. Lynn-Holly Johnson currently lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband and their two children.
