Serena Harriet Scott Thomas, born on 21 September 1961, is an accomplished English actress and documentary producer.

Scott Thomas first role was in 1991 British drama film Let Him Have It. in her second role, she gained recognition for her portrayal of Diana, Princess of Wales, in the 1993 television mini-series Diana: Her True Story.

She also took on the lead role in the TV film Harnessing Peacocks (1993) and appeared as Bond girl Dr. Molly Warmflash in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999). Her television credits include playing a sinister “watcher” in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer titled “Revelations” (1998) and starring in the short-lived series All Souls (2001).

Serena Scott Thomas played the wife of Bruce Willis’s character in the film Hostage (2005) and appeared in TV shows such as Nip/Tuck and NCIS. Her other film roles include Brothel (2008) and Inherent Vice (2014). In the biopic William & Kate: The Movie, she portrayed Carole Middleton, the mother of Kate Middleton, focusing on Kate’s romance with Prince William.
