That night, Solange and Bond meet each other again at a poker game, where her husband is playing against Bond. Following Alex’s loss and his subsequent cold response to Solange’s affections, Bond becomes more intrigued by her.
Later, after Bond beats Dimitrios at the poker table and wins all of his money and his coveted Aston Martin DB5. outside afterwards, Bond invites Solange to accompany him back to his villa for some Bollinger and caviar.
She agrees, and they head back to make love with a few drinks.. During their rendezvous, Solange confides in Bond about her discontentment with her life, attributing it to her husband’s villainous activities and their one-sided relationship.
Her husband rings her to let her know he has some urgent business in Miami and that he’ll be away for a few days. She thinks its perfect for her and Bond to spend some extra time together, but Bond quickly gets up and heads to the airport to get to Miami, leaving Solange stranded in Bond’s villa.
After Bond kills Alex Dimitrios and successfully averts the bomb at Miami Airport, Le Chiffre mistakenly concludes that Solange must have information on what went wrong. Returning to the villa, Bond finds that Solange has been brutally tortured and murdered by Le Chiffre’s Quantum members, her lifeless body wrapped in a beach hammock.
